Vacuum electroplated glass wine bottles create eye-catching metallic texture packaging for spirits brand shelves

In the overseas alcohol market, the competition on shelves is becoming increasingly fierce, and ordinary transparent glass bottles find it hard to quickly catch consumers' attention. Vacuum electroplating (vacuum magnetron sputtering) is a high-end surface treatment process for glass wine bottles. In a vacuum environment, metal materials are vaporized, and a dense metal film is deposited on the outer surface of the bottle, creating rich metallic effects such as mirror gold, silver, rose gold, gun black, and bronze, significantly enhancing the luxury feel of the product.

Glass itself is non-conductive. Before electroplating wine bottles, a complete set of pretreatment must be carried out: ultrasonic deep cleaning to remove oil stains and dust, spraying a special primer to ensure the adhesion of the coating, and after completing the metal deposition, spraying a protective topcoat to resist transportation friction and daily scratches. The coating is only attached to the outer side of the bottle, while the inside of the bottle remains in its original glass material and does not come into contact with the wine. It meets the food contact safety standards and is suitable for packaging and exporting spirits, fruit wines and distilled spirits.

Electroplated wine bottles have excellent light-blocking performance, which can block ultraviolet rays and delay the deterioration of wine. They are suitable for light-sensitive alcoholic products. Compared with ordinary metallic paint spraying, vacuum electroplating has a stronger reflective effect and a more realistic metallic texture. Our factory supports full bottle electroplating, local electroplating, gradient electroplating, and can also superimpose baking patterns and laser engraving to achieve customized brand logos.

When foreign trade customers make purchases, they pay close attention to the adhesion of the coating, abrasion resistance test, color card sampling, minimum order quantity and delivery time. Qualified electroplated wine bottles have passed the adhesive tape adhesion test and are not prone to film peeling during long-distance sea container transportation. Whether it's new product launches, holiday limited editions, or high-end gift wines, electroplated glass wine bottles can help brands stand out in supermarket and bar channels and increase product premiums.
